Smoke Zone

This concept is a relatively new concept in Israel and is not common for the performance of releasing heat and smoke. From our experience as a company, Iskori partitions are installed in many areas of the country to separate areas of smoke for a better operation of the sprinkler systems.

In order to carry out a natural release of the heat and smoke, we divide the building into smoke zones. A smoke zone is bounded by an element (such as a smoke curtain) built into the ceiling of the building which prevents the smoke from spreading along and across the roof of the building, thus releasing the heat and smoke only from that area of the fire and smoke.

With the help of compartmentalizing the smoke zones, we enable people staying in the building to escape the building safely and unharmed.
