Fire Safety Zones
A fire safety zone is an area surrounded by fire resistant partitions. One of the main principles of fire suppression is that any structure should be divided so fire protection systems would not fail due to their limited capacity. A fire safety zone is isolated from other spaces by fire resistant obstacles such as fire doors, fire curtains, fire walls, fireproof drywalls etc. Such elements must be resilient and comply with the requirements of safety standards such as SII 755 and 921.
